Contracting for construction services is unlike any other major consumer purchase one is likely to make. If you are shopping for a new car, you look around for the best price you can find, knowing that the product is identical regardless of where it is purchased. However, when shopping for construction services, there is no such assurance that the end product will be the same from builder to builder.
Since there are literally thousands of parts and processes involved in a typical construction project, there are also an equal number of ways to cut corners.
